Ideas for outreach

At our September meeting, many members had great ideas for getting the word about the group out to the community. Please use this space to share those ideas and to let everyone know what you think of other people's ideas, so we can get start to put some things into motion. Continue reading below to see what I've remembered/considered, and add your own thoughts.

There are a lot of ways we can get the "good news", if you will, about OC Atheists out to the community. These may include:

- Advertising in the OC Weekly (rates forthcoming)
- Bumper stickers/tshirts/other "wearables"
- Tables on college campuses/street fairs/farmers markets
- Hosting speakers/events
- "Bring a friend" events
- More meetings

Some of these require much more work than others, of course, but may have a higher payoff. Also, we should consider how to fund any of ours ideas that require it. I'm interested to hear your ideas!
