I had attended the last meeting in March. I would like to make a suggestion or ask a question. What is the real reason for the gathering? Is it an alliance to work at resolving socialogigal/political problems nationally or just a homecoming? I am a naturalist/humanist Aristotlean middle-of-the-roader atheist who is interested in ousting religion out of our government especially Christianity. I am looking at the political problems we are facing today in terms of resolution plasing, to the best of, each parties interests in a balance. Both parties (Republican and Democrat) have significant views, but too much to the extremes which usually pleases special intersts and lobbying rather than resolution of our countries needs. The rich profit, but the nation never does as a whole. This is my agenda 'To be a part of the solution, not the problem'. Thanx for this social group, Robert!

We're primarily a social group, though we have our Invocation project, and we're always looking to support/sponsor any member in any related activity. I've found the social aspect to be very important, especially among atheists who aren't out to their friends and family.

If you've got a specific project in mind, we're happy to use our resources to get the word out. Just let me know.

I would like to RSVP for the April meeting. I am very curious to see what you folks and your organization are all about. I find it very hard to find others to speak with on the subject of atheism and such so I would very much like to come and meet open-minded people and such. Thank you.

I'm sorry,
I will not be able to make it for this months meeting, but intend to come next month.
I takes courage to stand up in a society today that is bent on overtaking everything this nation is built on to run it to the ground with hate related Christian politics. The others like ourselves (Athesits and the disinterested) are forced to conform to self-centered, money making, hate stricken monsters like the Christian fundamentalist that want everone to look, act, and be like them. The last group of people in history to force conformity was the Nazis under the influence of Hitler and his gang. Those who are atheists and agnosts or Buddhist and so forth know this to be true. We as atheists, should at least find ways to pull out of this vile nature of the Christians who always think their right and do what is necessary to not be a part this arrogance. Unfortunately, this power is getting larger and more powerful as each year the Republicans allow this special interst group to take control. Maybe, open forums to let all who are interersted make our VOICE be heard. The sad thing is Christians are not even supposed to be in politics or making judgement of any kind on others. This garrantees them a place in their hell. It's in their 'Parable of the sower'. You know. The one they are suppose to understand in order for them not to enter this place. What should we do, be bunching bags? Be force to send our children to war even though Christians are not even supposed to be a part of war? (For those who live by the sword, shall parish by the sword.) Was there something these Christian idiots didn't get about the meaning of this? That's like eating shit and not know it. Why is it that only a few huumans like the atheists just seem to know more, are healthier, more understanding, and more powerful without having to force it others than anyone religious? Religion is not only a lie, it's a sickness, a disease, and pure ignorance. I'm sorry but history proves this fact. Keep the strength, the mind, and the heart, because we ahteists and others who are disinterested in Christian affairs are truly better than this. We have better things to do. Robert!
