October Meeting!

The Next Orange County Atheists meeting will take place Wednesday, October 12 at 7:30PM at the International House of Pancakes at 18542 MacArthur Blvd in Irvine, near John Wayne Airport.

Many group members also meet at the El Torito across from the IHOP at 6:30pm for drinks and appetizers. If you can make one or both events, please RSVP here!A map to the IHOP is available here. We'll be meeting in the upstairs meeting room. Please RSVP at this page to let us know you're coming one or both events!

What goes on in these meetings? I don't know if I'll be able to go yet, but I'm interested. Any info is appreciated.

Simply, it's dinner and discussion. Not much in terms of 'club business', mostly we dine and talk about religion and politics. Everyone is welcome.

Gonna pass this month. I have a late class on Wednesdays that gets out at 8:30 and will be biking, so it'd probably be around 9 by the time I got there and then I'd have about an hour ride home.

Hopefully I can get some AAR folks over to the meeting though!

As a side note, it seems like there are a lot more spam bots than usual.

We usually have nametags. At IHOP, we'll more than likely be upstairs. You can ask for me by name (Mike) if you're shy about asking a group of total strangers if they're the atheists =)
