Help out OC Atheists!
You all know I hate asking you for money, but this convention set up has not come cheap -- costs are close to $600 after paying for our convention space and materials.We'll have a great set up, and many materials we can use later. So far, I've paid for everything out of pocket, happily. However, if you'd like to contribute a few dollars to the cause, it'd be much appreciated. I've set up a PayPal donation account to make it easy.

If you're worried about paying bills or helping out instead of something else you need to do, don't - I'll get by. But if you've got some cash hanging around and would like to donate to the cause, by all means, feel free. Join OC Atheists at the Atheist Alliance International Convention this week!
Join Orange County Atheists and Atheist Alliance International this week at the 2008 "Unsinkable Atheism" convention in Long Beach, September 25-29. Our group will have a table in the exhibit hall - come by and say hello!

October Meeting
The Next Orange County Atheists meeting will take place Thursday, October 9 at 7:30PM at the International House of Pancakes at 18542 MacArthur Blvd in Irvine, near John Wayne Airport. Those interested will also meet for a less formal gathering at 6:00PM at the El Torito across from the IHOP before coming to the 7:30PM meeting.
